Welcome to “Currently Coveting,” a quarterly edit of objects and spaces that have captured my attention this season. Each installment is a personal curation — the things I keep returning to, the aesthetics I’m studying, and the pieces making their way onto my wishlist.
From garden antiques to interior details, these are not trends to chase but rather timeless finds worth slowing down for. Join me as I share what’s inspiring me, and perhaps, what might inspire you too.
Gardening is one of my favourite creative pastimes. To me, it’s one of the purest forms of slow living. So when I recently came across Harold’s Finishing Touches on Instagram, I fell down a rabbit hole and haven’t quite come out of it yet.
Founder Aaron Bourne has an extraordinary eye. His gardens are structured yet romantic — all clipped boxwood spheres, gravel paths, iron finials, and stone urns that look as though they have been quietly aging in place for a century. There is something deeply grounding about that aesthetic: the sense that a garden should feel inherited, not assembled.
I’ve been studying his feed and spending entirely too much time curating a collection of pieces that could bring this lasting sensibility to our yard this summer. Below are the things I keep coming back to — wicker, weathered stone, dark iron, and the kind of topiary that makes any corner feel complete.
You can browse the complete collection — including everything I’m currently eyeing for the season — over on my ShopMy.
